A feature that can be seen along the rear wall of dRAW’s offices; is this piece of bespoke shelving. Designed in house to the smallest detail applicable for the construction, there is much more going on here than pre-fabricated plywood birch strips.
The work itself is based up the Virturvian Golden Ratio also known as the Golden Section. The quantities of each line and space are in the golden ratio as their proportion is the same as the ratio of their sum to the larger of each quantity.
The result is a subconscious interrelationship between every line and each opening. This is drawn from dRAW’s ethos towards architecture, where the seamless transition between spaces is constantly sought after.
