Black Bricks

Black Bricks

A long polished black brick wall in the kitchen is the statement feature in this terraced home, using bricks that were left over during the build of a museum in Germany.

The property underwent a full internal renovation and side return which transformed the ground floor of the home.

The vast open living space includes glazing along the side return that seamlessly folds into the rear wall dissolving the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. Exposed steel beams run through the contrast white kitchen and black bricks. Atmospheric lighting illuminates the statement wall and a skylight brings in additional natural light.
