Richard studied Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Greenwich and the University of Leeds, before starting his career in 2004 with L+C Engineers in London.
Over the years, he has developed a strong track record across both residential and commercial construction, working on major projects such as Heathrow Terminal 5, WeWork office retrofits, and large-scale residential schemes including Ashton Grove in Dunstable and The Chocolate Factory in Bristol.
Alongside these high-profile projects, Richard has built extensive experience in the residential sector, with a particular focus on party wall matters. He now specialises in providing clear, practical advice to homeowners, developers and neighbours alike, ensuring compliance, reducing risk, and helping projects progress smoothly. His background in engineering gives him a detailed technical understanding of construction, which he combines with a pragmatic approach to resolving party wall issues efficiently.
