Family home with a fully glazed rear facade creates a harmonised living space around a centralised kitchen.
Our client’s aspirations were to accentuate the Victorian features whilst adding elements of modern design.
dRAW were appointed on this project in 2018 to completely remodel the existing ground floor of the property. The existing house differed to most London Homes with the kitchen situated in the middle room of the ground floor. This suited our client’s needs but the floor plan and interiors were in need of renovation.
We designed a space keeping the kitchen in the middle of the house but moving the dining area to the front and opening out the back of the house with a side return and extension to create a extensive modern living area. Within the kitchen, dark blue cabinetry of a large island unit centres the space and creates a perfect place for the family to relax and socialise together. The fully glazed rear facade harmoniously links interior space to exterior.
