An elegant family home with an open-plan living area including a beautiful bespoke kitchen.
The renovation of this 3 storey Victorian home involved an extension at ground floor and loft level. During the course of the construction process the clients decided to carry out a full house renovation.
The front two rooms of the property are separated from the hallway by the installation of stunning steel framed partitions and doorways. This creates a private space at the front of the house within the overall ground floor. The new extension to the rear creates a beautiful open plan kitchen living area which is filled with natural light from the fully glazed side return.
The architectural design of the extensions, with large panes of steel framed glass at ground and loft level read as a modern addition but accentuate the beauty of the heritage property. Exposed brickwork and steel beams were installed alongside stunning bespoke joinery and help to create a contemporary feel alongside the original features. A monochrome colour palette was used throughout the house to integrate the spaces and create a feeling of consistency.
